The Power of Ketamine for Healing
Join Dr. Izzie Grant and Dr. Ronke Komolafe, Founder of Advancing Integrated Health, in an enlightening conversation about how ketamine works, who it supports, and the healing potential it holds for mental health.

A message from Dr. Izzie:
Hi there! If you’re curious about how ketamine might support your healing, this video is a wonderful place to begin. And if something in it speaks to you, I’d love to connect with you personally.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a way of working with the mind and body that supports deep and sustainable healing. Rather than creating distance from your pain, this process invites one to move through it, with support, presence, and the opportunity to gently interrupt persistent thought loops. For some, it opens a door to parts of themselves they’ve long been disconnected from.
Ketamine is a legal, dissociative medication that has been shown to enhance neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to form new connections and break out of old patterns. This isn’t about escaping your experience. It’s about relating to it differently. Ketamine helps soften rigid neural patterns and create new possibilities for healing, especially when you feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing has shifted.
At Solace, Ketamine is offered in a supportive, therapeutic setting that honors your pace, your readiness, and your safety. This is a collaborative experience, one where you take the lead in your healing, and we walk alongside you with care and intention.
What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?
Before You Begin
Ketamine can be powerful, but it’s not a stand-alone solution. At Solace, we view this medicine as part of a larger healing journey. Your care includes preparation, integration, and space to reflect, not just dosing sessions.
We’ll never drop you into a psychedelic state without support, and we’ll never leave you to “figure it out” afterward. This is steady, intentional work, and you’ll be held every step of the way.
What Your Journey Will Include...
Initial Consulation and Preparation
Your journey begins with a thorough medical and emotional intake where we explore your goals, concerns, mental health history, and whether ketamine is a good fit for you. We’ll also review your medication use and any safety considerations. We’ll begin gently preparing you for the ketamine experience, discussing intentions, setting expectations, and creating a sense of safety before your first session.
Ketamine Sessions
Ketamine is administered as a low-dose intramuscular injection—not IV or nasal spray. Each session is held in a calming, therapeutic space with Dr. Izzie present the whole time. You’ll be supported with:
Personalized playlists and music
Noise-canceling headphones
Eye masks to help you turn inward
Gentle prompts and meaningful questions when appropriate
Written reflections transcribed by Dr. Izzie to help track insights
Integration Support
After each dosing session, Dr.Izzie will help you integrate your experience with an integration call designed to help you begin making sense of what came up and how to carry it forward. If you feel called to go deeper, we partner with Dr. Sierra Kneller, a psychedelic integration coach and specialist, who offers extended guidance and support to make your insights last longer with sustainable, integrated change.
Continued Care
To ensure your healing continues beyond the sessions themselves, Dr.Izzie schedules a one-month follow-up to check in on how you’re feeling and what’s unfolding. You’ll also have open lines of communication throughout the process so you never feel alone in your care.
