Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
What is naturopathic medicine, and how is it different from conventional care?
Naturopathic medicine blends modern science with natural therapies to support the body’s ability to heal itself, focusing on root causes rather than just symptoms. We take time to understand your whole story and use personalized, integrative approaches to care.
What types of conditions do you commonly support at Solace?
We often work with anxiety, depression, burnout, hormone imbalances, digestive concerns, chronic fatigue, trauma, and people seeking deeper emotional and spiritual healing.
Do you run lab tests or work with existing labs?
Yes, we run both standard and specialty labs, and we’re happy to review results from other providers to build a complete picture of your health.
Do you accept insurance or offer superbills?
We are an out-of-pocket practice and do not accept insurance. At this time, we do not provide superbills, but we do accept HSA and FSA cards for payment.
What should I expect during my first visit?
We’ll explore your health history, current concerns, and goals, and begin creating a personalized plan that supports your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Can I work with you if I’m already seeing another doctor or therapist?
Absolutely. We often collaborate with other providers and believe in a team-based, integrative approach to healing.
How do I know if this kind of care is right for me?
If you're looking for deeper, holistic support that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit, this kind of care may be a great fit.
Ketamine FAQs
How much does ketamine-assisted psychotherapy cost?
Our ketamine therapy packages range between $2450 and $4950 and vary based on the level of support or sessions included. Each package typically includes preparation, guided medicine sessions, and personalized integration. We’ll discuss the best options for your needs and go over all pricing details during your discovery call. Prices are subject to change.
How many sessions are recommended for ketamine therapy?
We highly recommend starting with a series of 6 ketamine sessions, as research shows this provides the most therapeutic benefit for lasting change. That said, the ideal number of sessions can vary depending on your goals, personal history, and how you respond to the medicine.
Do I need to prepare anything before my session?
Yes, we’ll provide preparation guidance to help you feel safe and supported going into your session. This includes how to set up your space, fasting guidelines, clarifying goals and intentions, creating a sense of safety, and grounding practices to help you arrive fully present.
What happens after my ketamine session? How is integration handled?
After your session, we’ll meet for a dedicated integration session to help you process your experience and begin applying insights to your daily life through reflection, grounding, and support. For those seeking deeper, more comprehensive care, a 1-hour integration session after each ketamine experience with Sierra is also available as an add-on.
Is ketamine safe? What are the possible side effects?
Ketamine is considered safe when administered in a clinical setting by a trained provider. Possible side effects may include nausea, dizziness, mild dissociation, or fatigue, which typically resolve quickly.
What conditions can ketamine-assisted therapy help with?
Ketamine therapy is often used to support depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, burnout, grief, and existential distress, especially when traditional approaches haven’t been fully effective.
Do you work with insurance or payment plans?
We are an out-of-pocket practice and do not accept insurance, but we do accept HSA/FSA cards and offer payment plans as needed. We’re happy to talk through options on a call.
What makes Solace’s Ketamine Program different from other clinics?
Our approach is deeply supportive and intentionally held—we use low-dose intramuscular (IM) injections in a safe, calming environment, and remain in the room with you throughout the entire experience. We offer real-time emotional support, transcribe insights as they arise, and integrate naturopathic care, somatic tools, and soul-centered practices to support deep healing.
